Furniture
The MFIS Furniture program is a volunteer-run garage. We collect, store, and distribute gently used furniture to visiting international students when they arrive in Madison. Our program provides them with essentials such as a bed, desk, chair and other items at a nominal cost. Students tell us they are so grateful for this invaluable service.

Logistics
WHERE? Our location is a storage garage behind the Dale Heights Presbyterian Church at 5501 University Avenue in Madison.
INFORMATION: Please check our website at mfismadison.org/furniture for updates.
OPEN HOUSE: If your are a STUDENT looking for furniture, please be advised our furniture program is now closed. Our inventory is depleted. Please check our website for updates for the Spring semester. When we again offer an open house volunteers will be needed from 10am to Noon. Students may come without making an appointment.
RETURNS: If you are a student and wish to return furniture, please contact us and we can arrange a time when you may bring it to our garage. If you cannot bring the furniture, please give it to someone else who needs it.
DONATE: If you wish to donate furniture we are eager to receive your donation but we cannot pick up furniture. Please contact us to arrange a time when you can drop it off at our garage.
DELIVERY: We are unable to deliver furniture. Students are responsible for transporting their own furniture.
PAYMENT: Cash and carry! We accept only cash or check for furniture payment.
OTHER INQUIRIES: We will get back to you within 3 to 4 days.
