English Classes - Volunteers
We offer classes that emphasize conversation and include practical help for everyday life in Madison. MFIS English classes are taught by volunteers with a range of English as a Second Language (ESL) teaching experience. Volunteer activities include teaching and childcare.
Classes vary in size from small conversation classes to large group sizes. All classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 518 N. Franklin Avenue, but have no religious affiliation.
